The sun and snow made it tolerable to play outside yesterday and today. Caitlyn spent Saturday with us and enjoyed the snow in many different ways. She was a little skeptical about "walking on the lake". We enjoyed exploring the lake and the fields. Trying to understand how the muskrats can break through the ice is hard for even me to understand. She liked finding mouse holes in the snow out in the field. We all wished we had a bigger hill to slide down. Eating snow took some explanations in the attempt to discourage her further. We have such interesting conversations. Her observations are so funny. When we came in the house to warm up, she teased Grandpa for walking around in "girl pants" (which was his long underwear). Funny Grandpa!!
